What you need to know
Discovery describes its next Superbank evolution as a way for different parts of a client’s financial life to work more closely together. The announcement brings together everyday banking, rewards and benefits linked to selected Discovery products.
One of the main developments is a new Discovery Portfolio status. According to the launch summary, this status will unlock enhanced flight and Discovery Miles rewards, recognising both behavioural outcomes and the value of a client’s Discovery portfolio. The summary does not set out the full qualification rules or reward calculations, so the benefit for an individual client still needs to be confirmed.
The announcement also highlights Vitality Drive 4.0 and Vitality Active Rewards for Sleep, alongside smarter banking features and new home loan opportunities. These developments span several programmes, each with its own requirements and timing. They should not be treated as a single benefit that automatically applies to every Discovery client.
For clients, the useful starting point is understanding how the products they already hold may work together. A review can identify which benefits are relevant, what actions may be needed to qualify and whether any additional fees or conditions apply.
Rewards are one part of that conversation. Any decision to add or change a banking, insurance or investment product should also take account of its cost, suitability and role in your wider financial plan. The launch offers a reason to review your arrangements, rather than a reason to change them without advice.

Existing Discovery clients who want to understand how their banking and other qualifying products may connect, as well as people considering Discovery products as part of their financial planning. Holding a Discovery product alone does not establish eligibility for every announced benefit.
